LOGAN, UT (December 2018) – Continuing expansion throughout the country, Pillow has partnered with Mountain States Property Management to enable their residents to use short-term rentals in four of it’s high-end buildings. Mountain States Property Management, which was founded in 1979, offers upscale multifamily properties throughout Utah.

With Pillow being offered in certain buildings in the Salt Lake City area, the partnership with The Mountain States properties will expand Pillow’s offering in the region. Mountain States partnered with Pillow to help generate revenue for property owners and residents alike. Across the four properties included in the deal, residents have begun listing their units and accepting reservations.

Pillow makes it easy for property managers to monitor and control short-term rentals, and residents benefit from additional revenue. With Pillow, landlords can easily view rental schedules for each of their units and receive real-time notifications when guests check in and check out. Additionally, Pillow lets building managers add controls to the short-term rental process. Property managers can set restrictions on the number of nights a resident can rent out their unit, restrict pets and smoking and enforce other community rules. Community managers also receive 10 percent of the profit on all completed reservations. With help from Pillow, offering short-term rentals as an added benefit to residents is a low cost and low effort amenity that has the potential to increase your profits by drawing more tenants.

Mountain State’s communities are all throughout Utah, some of which are in popular vacation spots and have attractive amenities which make the properties a great choice for those seeking short-term rentals. The four buildings recently rolled out include Seasons at Library Square, Seasons of Layton, Seasons of Traverse Mountain and Seasons on City Creek. The modern resort-style communities feature swimming pools, start-of-the-art gym’s, business centers and gaming rooms. Residents at these buildings can now benefit from the flexibility and added income that come with this enticing benefit.

Pillow was recently acquired by Expedia Group and will work closely with HomeAway and other Expedia Group brands to unlock urban growth opportunities. This means that Pillow clients will receive enhanced quality service with added benefits! These Mountain States properties will become the first multi-platform clients for Pillow, which means that residents will now also have access to the HomeAway and VRBO networks as a part of the Expedia Group family. HomeAway offers more than two million unique places to stay in 190 countries across the world, including luxury rental options. With this partnership, Pillow can offer even more options for short-term rentals.

The short-term rental market is continuing to expand rapidly, and Pillow makes it safe and easy for multifamily buildings to capitalize on this trend.
